Thursday, Mar 20 – Day 94
We have breakfast at 7:30 am and leave at 8:30. It’s a three hour hike back to Paine Grande to catch the catamaran, which departs at 12:30, so the schedule is pretty tight. It’s our third time on the bottom half of this trial, so today is just about going home. It’s still beautiful though. Once off the boat, we catch the bus to Puerto Natales, and arrive around 4:00 pm. We return the rental gear, drop off our laundry (done in 2 hours for $9,000 pesos), drink a couple of local micro-brewed beers, and feast on a nice salmon dinner in celebration of our successful return.
